Demetria Mason

I would like to give you an update and an approval. First, let me say thank you Peace Behind Bars for the gift box that you sent my friend for the “poem prize” she loved the items. You were and are true to your words. I forgot that I even sent that poem in.

Now when I first got arrested in 2014, I had anything in jail to prison that money could buy on the outside I had that no worry attitude. Why? Well, my mother had stood beside me through everything?

Feb 13 2019, my mother Pamala Voissi grabbed her a set of angel wings and went home to the lord above… Here it is Aug 2 and my breath still catches when I see her picture. I know what the feeling alone means or to have nothing because what I took granted is gone without the words good bye.

Now my mother lived in a little town, Keystone Heights, FL. Who did not tolerate racist, well look at me. I’m White, Indian, Black and Puerto Rican but she also treated people the same. The poem I’m sending is from my heart its about the hate in the world. Shooting, Racism, discrimination, on immigrants.

Please spread it… All I am ask is you remember it came from and why.

Hopefully, a blessing comes my way to share 10-fold like you do.

Thank you.
