SHORT “TESTIMONY” BY Demitria Mason
Well before I became incarcerated I was making many moves in the drug business. I was a very series person, never smiled or joked unless it was with my miracle baby boy. If you owed me you must pay if you call me or text me it better be bossiness. I Trusted No One Not even family. I really only loved my son and niece. I worked a real job to keep a paper trails. Because of one person owing me and not thinking they had to pay I went and committed my crime. Hot tempered, Gun player and a smart princess is what I was!
Now I’ve been locked up 4 and some change and around year 3 I started to change some. I started to smile more be open a little, even control my temper some. I’m getting better on this daily. I know if I would have been home I would have a caught a more serious charge because I didn’t mind shooting. But now I’m doing something else. I love and that’s learning. I’m becoming mellow.
When I get home, I want to go back to college, now for criminal law. I have many family members that will need me. Hopefully I’l be able to put my feistiness on the stand for my people. More people out less in. I ow love my mom because she has my son, and I have an understanding of who she is and what she can’t do. I may be on my own here in prison but the understanding I have is great. I’m going to Rock the town when I get out in 2022. Cause I’m a Wonder Woman now.
