As the eagle soars
In the sky of blue
I wonder what it sees
Far off in a distant view
As I look at it
It’s a beautiful sight
It is majestic
With its graceful flight
I would wonder
If it sees more land
As it soars over here
I see its wings expand
Before I could answer
It left with a cry
I knew what it said
It said it’s goodbye
