FOND WISHES AND FAREWELLS MR. EALEY
Mr. Ealey came to Moore Haven in 2015 as the new instructor for the CDL vocational class. He quickly endeared himself with the residents as an easy-going staff member who was always down to earth. His fashion sense was keen, sharp, always well thought out. He was, by all accounts, a man who you could be around enjoying life and work.
As he leaves us, both the staff and residents know that there will be a void that cannot be replaced. Often-time we focus on how many awards, diplomas, and/or accolades a man has accumulated.
While Mr. Ealey has many accomplishments to speak about within and without the trucking industry, he remained a humble as he quickly went about this business here at Morre Haven. He was a team player time and time again.
He will be remembered fondly as an instructor who valued residents who were serious about attaining their CDL. When it came to forklifting he was a treasure trove of information. And still, he allowed his longtime aide to be a significant part of the educational process in the classroom.
As he departs, taking his talents to south bay, he will be missed most assuredly. There were times when you would see his eyes gleam as he watched the steep-team stomp the yard, and in those moments, you realized that while time and age are inescapable, the youth fulness of his spirit will be forever eternal.
Mr. Ealey, may the next part of your life’s journey be filled with blessings. Fond wishes and farewells,
Moore Haven Correctional Facility of Florida.
